angels and demons

warning: random babbling... things i just have to write 'cos no one would listen to me talkin' about it.

hah! another dan brown novel and to tell you the truth, it's as captivating as the first one i've read... the DaVinci Code. if i were alive during illuminati's existence, if they really have disappeared already, i'd be on their side. though, i don't think i'd be able to find the four churches of science. only the scientists with the brightest minds will be able to end up at the illuminati's lair using the map bernini and galileo have made. you'd practically have to know HISTORY to be able to figure things out. and sadly, i'm not a big fan of it. maybe because i don't know anything about it except that the most famous paintings' artists are famous... that's about everything i have in mind. but after reading brown's book... my perception of art changed. i thought they were merely decorations in your living room, paintings that serve as a status symbol in the society. frankly, they really are the expression of one's self... and more.

who ever thought that there's more to the mona lisa than meets the eye? gah! all along i thought she was girl. a young maiden that hid secrets behind her knowing smiles and that davinci was genius enought to capture it on a canvas. but no! she was, or rather, the person in the painting was neither a guy nor a girl. take it from the name (it's not for a girl either). an ambigram of the egyptian god and goddess of fertility, amon and isis (whose name is written as l'isa). enlightening, huh?

well, enough about that. i'm just... i dunno... the book was really powerful (quoting someone from ffnet). i'd recommend it to everyone. and like what most people say, try to keep in mind that it is FICTION. though at the start of the book, brown would tell you certain things in the book are FACTUAL.

gtg... my sister won't sleep by herself. sigh... plus i've got to get up early, haha ... at last, for a change!
